Caring for Yourself

Its Very easy to get all Wrapped up in the house, kids, hubby and the many other things you have to do, we can forget about yourself  or just feel like You have no time for you!
Many of us feel this way.
But it very important to not forget about yourself and stop caring for yourself.

Its always good to have a schedule, it's good to include time for yourself in this schedule.
here are some ideas.

As a housewife your duty is to take care for yourself mentally, emotionally and physically. This may include getting proper nutrition and exercise, maintaining a good physical appearance and grooming habits, and developing hobbies and a social life outside of the house. This will help you more successfully fulfill your other duties.

Daily:
Give yourself time in the morning to dress yourself, don't just throw on your Favorite pj pants and a baggy shirt. Yes, you might have to be home all but that doesn't mean you should look like a slob. Shower, Do your Hair, Put your Makeup on etc...                                                                                                                                You will not only look good you will feel better. and Your Husband don't mind it as well!
Workout:
Add a fitness workout of some sort to your weekly routine. No matter if you want to get up to jog every morning after you take the kids to school or take a yoga class in the middle of the day three times a week, Now's a good time as any to get caught up on your fitness regime.

Out of the House:
Do something that you've been craving. Take a class to get out of the house every once in awhile. Whether you're learning how to perform a striptease for your hubby or getting a pedicure, reward yourself for getting all of your household tasks completed with a little pampering and self-indulgence.
Tip's: (Saving Money)
I'm a money saver so I like to do a lot of my pampering myself at home. I still put the day and time down on my schedule. and keep it just as if i had a appointment somewhere. this way i don't miss some me time.
1.) I use to go get The Gel Nails done, but instead of going to a spa and doing it, I got a Gel set and light all for a Total of $35.00 and now every 2 week I do it myself. yes It did take me some time to get it down. also because I wanted french tip, and that was harder for me to do. but now i'm better at it, and it looks good and I don't have to spend all that money.

2.) I do my own Toes.

3.)My Hair I mix my own color and do it at home. save big$$$

Now what do I do with the money I'm saving? Whatever I Want! Sometimes I will get a new Outfit, Massage, Waxing, Facial or just Save it.

Yourself & Hubby:
Prepare yourself, Take fifteen minutes before hubby gets home to rest This way you will be Refreshed when he arrives. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people. Be happy and little more interesting. His boring day may need a lift. Greet him with a smile. This will all help you both.

Cleaning: The Bedroom

We all hate make our bed. But the room looks so nice when we do. But here our some tips for making the bed!

As soon as your out of bed Fold down your Blankets to the foot of the bed. this will give your sheets Air flow and help keep your bed from stinking and will kill more germs.

It also helps to open the Windows and let Fresh Air in, and Open your Blinds to let sun light in.
Fresh air will help air out your room and help fight the bad odors rooms can get and can also fight the germs.
The sunlight will do the same kill germs and fight Odor!

Do all 3 of these and you got one big germ and Odor killing Monster.

If you want you can even Sprits your sheets with a yummy smelling spray that has sanitizer in it. ( if you do this you must keep the sheets open for long to make sure they dry fully before making the bed!

Also check to make sure what you use will not make you brake out, last you need is zits all over you face and body.)

What I do:
In the morning after my husband gets out of bed (he always gets up after me).
I Fold down all the sheets to the foot of the bed. Then I open the Blind & Window in the bedroom let that sunny, airy, odor fighting, Germ killing stuff in!

Then I pick up any stuff left out or on the floor pants, shoes etc... And put it all away.

I put the glass of water in the sink And so on.
Once the room is all picked up I will make the bed.
Once the bed is made I will close the Window & Blind but leaving the Blind so that light can still shine in.

Once I'm all done I will sprits the room with my Homemade all natural room spray. Recipe coming soon to blog.

And there you have it a nice clean, sunny good smelling, bed made room! Now enjoy it!

Do you have any tips?

Cleaning The House

Another role of a housewife is maintaining the upkeep of the house. Tasks like cleaning washing the dishes, doing the laundry, ironing clothes, dusting, keeping the fridge and pantry stocked and going grocery shopping if need be are all completed by a housewife.

Ensuring that the house is tidy, clean and nicely decorated has traditionally been the role of the housewife, though this expectation has lessened.

What we are going to be talking about is The Housewife's Role of Cleaning the home!

Cleaning house. Not necessarily the most glamorous task for the homemaker, but definitely a requirement!

It works best to set up a schedule of chores. Monday is vacuuming day, Tuesday, you do the laundry, Wednesday is clean the bathroom, etc. By setting the chores to a rhythm and habit, they get done quickly and efficiently, so you have more time to do the things you like best.

You will Find what Schedule works best for you.

Do make a point of cleaning with non-toxic cleaners. Toxic residues, and fumes do you and your family no good. White vinegar is an excellent all-purpose cleaner that is inexpensive and gets the job done. Or you can fined Recipes for Cleaning stuff here on our blog.

 Cleaning duties include:

  • organizing
  • dusting
  • cleaning
  • scrubbing
  • sweeping
  • vacuuming
  •  doing the dishes
  • doing laundry

Maintaining the household may also include:

  •  paying the bills
  • creating and maintaining a household Budget
  •  running household errands
  • mowing the lawn
  • getting the car serviced
  • caring for any pets
  • shopping for food and cleaning supplies
  • buying clothes and accessories for the different members of the household.
For each Household this list can change but this is the things that need to be done.
With a spouse at work and the children at school, Cleaning the house can go much more quickly.
I always suggest First starting with Running through the house and putting everything in its place example:

  •    like the throw pillows for the sofa pick them up off the floor and put them were they go.
  •  the toy in the hallway put it back in the toy box
  • the news paper your husband was reading at the table put it away
  • the glass of water on the night stand put in the dishwasher.

the list can go on but i think your getting the idea.

Now you will start with you big cleaning. Consider starting in the kitchen after breakfast. Wash dishes, mop the floor, clean the stove and kitchen table and put the dishes in the cupboard. Move on to other rooms, vacuuming, polishing furniture and dusting.  after cleaning up from breakfast I like to move on to the room my husband will be first walking into after work, then moving on to the next room. That way if I don't get everything done at least when he first walks in it will look neat and tidy.
